Good to know

Is a licence or experience needed?

No. The courses are designed for children with no experience: a qualified instructor sits alongside, with dual controls (duplicate pedals), just like at driving school.

Which car, at what age?

Each school sets a minimum age per car: small city cars from 6 to 8, more powerful sports cars from 11 to 14. The accepted age is shown on each course above; check any minimum height on the school's website.

How long does a course last?

Schools offer packages by number of laps (for example 2, 5 or 10 laps at AS'phalte Junior, for about an hour and a half on site, briefing included). Details are on each school's website.

Can parents watch?

It depends on the school and the track: ask the school when you book.

Information collected from the schools' websites (Formula Kids, AS'phalte Junior); the exact conditions (age, height, equipment) are those published by each school.
